The Writer's Block Blog!!!

Post by Bayomir on Thu Jan 31, 2008 2:07 am

Well all day now, I have been working on some new additions to our cause and to expand our reach to ascertaining new members. As you all know, I am always looking for new ways to further our reach to attract new members and more people to come to our site, after all, we are about giving everyone a place to come and discuss and post literary works without scandalous eyes. Well I have extended our reach a little more today!

The Writer's Block Blog
We now have our own blog that we can write up new events or new changes that are going to be made onto the site! The blog has a lot of cool features that will catch the eyes of those who stumble upon it. For example, we have a RSS feed icon/link for it so people can subscribe to the blog and be able to get updates on it. We also have a "Subscribe By Email" which allow those who don't have a RSS reader to get updates on the blog via their personal email! The outgoing email is customized with our logo and with our font coloration to give it that Writer's Block feel.

Our blog will allow us a chance to keep our members and non-members informed of the new things that are going on. One of the things that will be apart of the blog is the winners of the monthly awards will be placed upon on the blog for everyone to see along with the title of whatever work it was that won them that award (if given in the nomination). Each winner will be allowed to write up a small, one paragraph piece that can be a "speech" (for lack of a better word) that will be posted up with there name (unless the winner for that month, author wise, is dead) on the blog. This will give those who won a chance to brag and say that they are upon on an official site's blog and they got to write a little piece that went up on it. This will give the members a more interactivity and cause to enter into the monthly awards polls and in turn causes more participation from the members.

The address to the blog is literaryartstoyou.blogspot.com

Go check it out and subscribe!

Thank you,
Bayomir
The Chief Editor.
